ApproveMail Features and Benefits
- Integrated Sender Approval System: The ultimate spam killer! You only receive the email that you want to receive, and none of the irritating junk mail. Easily add your contacts to your Approved Sender list. For "real people" not on your approved sender list who want to send you email, the verification process takes a matter of seconds, is extremely easy, and quite painless, even for novice email users.
- Disposable Tracers Email Addresses: You can easily create and use up to 15 Tracers at a time, and delete as needed. Tracers provide you with an easy method to receive email from automated systems that cannot respond to our Authentication Requests, while still protecting your primary Address from spam and other unwanted mail. Tracers consist of a combination of your "real" Email Address, along with letters and/or numbers that you specify.
- You won't be bothered with Advertising: Unlike most (if not all) other webmail service providers, we do not have any banner advertising or pop-up ads in our member area. We will never re-sell your email address or other contact information to "marketing partners" or any other third-party agencies and allow them to send you email or market to you in any way.
- Enjoy Stylish HTML Emailing: Create, send and receive HTML messages, upload and include images in your outgoing email, and much more! ApproveMail will even create a text version of your email so if you send an HTML message, and the recipient email client does not support read HTML messages, they can still read a text version! Our WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML function allows you to easily compose HTML email. Add colored backgrounds, different fonts, pictures--just about anything to your email quickly and easily.
- Lots of Storage Space: Each account includes 1GB of disk storage space to give you plenty of room to keep track of your email and attachments.
- Large Attachment Support: Upload LARGE (up to 10 MB) attachments and send them along with your message. ApproveMail also allows you to display image and text attachments that you receive easily on the web.
- Email Redirecting: Choose whether or not to redirect all email sent to your account, including tracer email address mail, to another email address.
- Extensive Folder System: Easy organization, create Folders to keep your mail separated. Create "folders within folders." Set "per folder" options like: default sorting, number of messages to display per page, which columns to display, etc. One-click functions allow you to remove messages, apply filters, and more.
- Address Book: A powerful address book is included. This allows users to store their friends and contacts in the address book, and also associate nicknames to address entries to make sending email easy! Address Book Contacts are conveniently accessed from the "Compose" page.
- Threaded Messages: ApproveMail has the ability to "thread" messages. "Threading" allows you to see the full history of replies per message! Just view a message you sent, and you can see a full thread of the conversation.
- Powerful Filters: Setup email filters that can sort incoming email according to the characteristics you decide. Highly configurable features will automatically direct mail matching various characteristics into the appropriate folders. Easy to use and a great way to help keep your mail organized.
- Check Other Mail Accounts: Use your ApproveMail account to retrieve email from your other POP email accounts. This is great for centralizing your email into one location, or checking other accounts remotely. For example, if your company has its own email server, you could configure your ApproveMail account to retrieve your email while you are on vacation so you can access it from the web. You have the option to either leave messages on the other account, or delete them. Also included is our POP Manager which allows you to connect directly to a remote POP mailbox and view, download, re-download or delete mail directly from a POP account; ideal for those attachments that are just too large to download. You can also forward mail from other accounts that you wish to go through the Sender Approval System and check it using your ApproveMail account.
- Signatures: Store multiple signatures in both text and HTML format that get added to outgoing messages. Choose a default signature, and easily choose to include it or change it on your outgoing mail. This could be used to set one signature for friends and family and another for business contacts. Set yet another signature to match the email account of a remote POP mailbox that you are also retrieving mail from.
- Powerful Search Capabilities: Search your entire mailbox, including message bodies, headers (to, from, subject, etc.), in a particular folder, only among messages with attachments, etc.
- Check Spelling: A powerful spell checker is included. It offers intelligent suggestions on misspelled words and allows you to make corrections while checking messages.
- Quick Navigation: Easy to use, intuitive interface makes checking and replying to email a snap. No need to "complete a quick survey" before you can see your Inbox either. We strive to make ApproveMail as user-friendly as possible.
